Catholic Guidance Teachers-Counsellors attempt to address every student’s academic, personal and career goals by accessing available tools and resources for career exploration and assessment(s). Examples include interest surveys, research activities, and one on one counselling. However, one aspect that may be beneficial to include in the career/life planning program is to help students discern their vocation by offering Catholic resources that promote the student’s spiritual, moral and emotional growth. Therefore, the career/life planning program in Catholic Schools benefit by including additional lessons/experiential opportunities to nurture the spiritual formation of a student. |
