Dear Vendor/Sponsor;
The Catholic Curriculum Corporation will be hosting its When Faith Meets Pedagogy 2010 Conference on October 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, 2010 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel.
We are particularly pleased with the ongoing relationship we have developed with our vendor and sponsor partners. We understand the importance of vendors, not only in providing financial support for our conference, but also in providing a service to the educators attending the conference. In order to increase traffic in the vendor area throughout the day, for the 2010 conference, delegates will be able to choose a visit to the vendor area as one of their registration selections. We have also scheduled a reception in the vendor area at 4:00 p.m.
Over the past fourteen years, the When Faith Meets Pedagogy Conference has steadily grown in size and stature to where it is considered to be the premier Catholic Conference in the province. Our array of keynote and featured speakers this year include Bishop Paul André Durocher, who will open our conference on Thursday evening, October 21, 2010. Feature speakers will be announced in several weeks time.

Sponsorships
We are pleased to acknowledge that we have already secured sponsors for a number of conference items and would like to extend our appreciation to David Hadden of Halperns for donating delegate bags and to Rob Martellacci at Mindshare Learning for providing lanyards at the registration desk. Contributions such as these reduce our costs and allow us to keep our registration fee for delegates at a reasonable rate.
There are multiple other opportunities to showcase your company through sponsorship of a variety of events such as a comfort break, lunch, dinner or breakfast. Please contact Michael Bator , Executive Director, directly. We also welcome promotional items that may be placed in our delegate bags so if you an item please let us know and we will be glad to include your item in the delegate conference bag. Please note, we cannot insert catalogues, bookmarks, or promotional flyers in the delegate bags. These can be distributed at your tables.
HST
As you know residents of Ontario will be required to pay HST of 13% effective July 1 and unfortunately this will apply to delegate and vendor registrations. The vendor registrations will reflect 13% HST this year.
If you would be interested in sponsoring an event, e.g.: a reception, a meal, comfort break or donation of gifts for give-aways, either at our pre-conference Youth Forum or at the conference, please contact Michael Bator directly at (905) 564-8237.
We have two very capable conference planning committee members assisting with vendors: Jonathan Wright and Teresa Toth. Although most correspondence and registration will occur through Betty Goulden, Jonathan and Teresa will be available on-site to assist during set-up, conference period and take-down.

The Catholic Curriculum Corporation represents a consortium of the 17 Catholic district school boards in southern and western Ontario. Our geographical area extends from Peterborough in the East, to Windsor in the West. Through a variety of partnerships, including the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association, the Catholic Principals’ Council of Ontario, and the Catholic Association of Religious and Family Life Educators of Ontario, we provide curriculum materials and professional development to over 25,000 Catholic teachers. We are closely affiliated with the Eastern Ontario Catholic Curriculum Cooperative and the Northern Ontario Catholic Curriculum Cooperative.
We register delegates from Catholic school boards in Ontario and Alberta, including classroom teachers, religious education teachers, special education teachers, administrators, parents and parish council members.

8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all registrants adjacent to the vendor display area.
A Wine & Cheese reception will be hosted in this area at 5:00 pm.

Delegate Bag Gifts:
If you wish to have gifts inserted in the delegate bags, please let us know in advance so we can arrange delivery of these gifts prior to the conference.
