Description: With today`s learners being inundated with media artifacts and digital technology, the importance of moving students from a place of media input to output is of pressing importance. With this, the CCC resource “Catholic Media Authorship: An Enabler of Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning,” provides teachers with a classroom ready approach to nurture student media output that promotes equity, student voice and culturally responsive learning. From mobile short video production to the curation of student learning portfolios, this presentation will introduce educators to a classroom ready approach to media integration that speaks to the power of students living their faith and sharing who they are in and outside of the classroom.
